He's preparing to head Down Under for concert dates in Australia and New Zealand next month.
And Paul McCartney enjoyed a day of leisure before he resumes his punishing tour schedule as he stepped out in London, while displaying his slightly thinner locks.

The Love Me Do hitmaker looked relaxed and content as he stepped out, clad in a  comfortable navy blue quilted jacket which he paired with matching trousers and white trainers.
Covering up his eyes despite the downcast weather, the star slipped on the A-lister staple of aviator sunglasses.

Paul finished his look with a black, grey and red checked scarf.
The star has recently returned from Mexico City where he rocked the crowds at the Estadio Azteca in the latest date on his acclaimed One On One tour.

His return to his beloved Britain will be a brief one as he has dates in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland lined up for next month, which will take him through to December 16.
He began his One On One Tour in  April 2016, in Fresno, California.
He said to Rolling Stone of the tour: 'when I do the show, I feel like I'm kind of talking to someone like me in the audience, even though you're at the back of the hall, we try and bring the intimacy to you.
'It's me, one-on-one, with every member of the audience.'
